Title: what are the benefits of having an LDA???

well my question is will there be an increase of power
and lower fuel consumption(sounds good huh :lol: )
or else or only one of these or none??? :?  :roll:

Are you talking about on a turbo diesel or an NA diesel? Some TD's like the EcoDiesel didn't have an LDA.

Yes you will get more power and decreased fuel economy. Thats the short answer. Try searching around in the forums here, there is tons of info on IP's  and how to mod them and get more power out of your IDI vw diesel.

well i'm talking about the 1V (eco diesel as far as i know )

i'm also planing (else of puting an LDA) adjusting the wastegate
- looking like this

aand i've been told that it can be tweaked from the screw at the top of the wastegate valve - is that true???
and any suggestions on how much is a reasonable boost for the 1V engine???
