Title: banded steel wheels

does anyone know of a place in ontario that bands (widends ) steel wheels, i wouldnt mind having a set done for my MKII jetta, just unsure of where to have them done.

There is a guy in Orangeville that has steelies widened for his mk3 race car. If you post on vortex he may see it. I think his user name was something like racin rocco but I could be way off.

lol ill give that a try, haha ill have to sign up for there first ( yes i know i havn't suprisingly), i like the whole stretched tire idea and such, but you always see that around here done with alloys, and even the ones i was previously looking at were fairly common (borbet type A) they look amazingly good but you do see alot of them, what im thinking about doing is having almost a classic beetle looking rim 15-16" diamter, and 9 inches wide in the back 7.5" wide in the front, paint the rim body color, and have the polished chrome VW center hubcap, i think it would look pretty sweet, lol thats if i can do it lol :)

there somthing simmiloar to those, looks like just a standard set of the vw steelies, stretched way out with beetle or micro bus hub caps on there, simple yet extremely effective
