Looking for a good condition 020 .71 5th gear set. Might also consider .75.

the difference between .71 and .75 are so small that i bet only Broke himself could tell the difference in a .71 and .75 just by driving it. i think any of us wouldnt even be able to tell the 40 rpm difference.

.75 fifth gear sets are way easier to come by. lot more common.
5 different trannies use a .71. while 17 different trannies use a .75 gear set.

Yeah, that's why I said .75 would be fine too. My current 020 stripped its 5th so I need something.

this guy has two ff's with .71 fifths. He's really nice and will give you a good deal. I bought a bunch of stuff off him a month ago or so. The whole tranny will be cheaper than just the gear set.

I found a good source. Gary's transaxles has lots of 5ths for great prices.
