Title: Cold start choke is stuck...

So i pulled the choke the other day because it was a cold morning and it stuck wide open.... How do i fix this? It wont push back in for anything.

Engine is a 1.9td thanks.

If we want to get technical it's not a choke but a cold start timing advance.

Anyways, it's hooked up to the back of the pump. Use a screwdriver to push it back to where it should be. You'll need a long one.

My rpms sit at like 1000 - 1100 when im idling.

Does that mean i need to do the timing?

Nope, it just means you need to back off the stop screw. ::)...

...However, if that means that it idles rough, then timing may be out a little,
or maybe injectors a little imbalanced :)
