Title: Help needed on tuning the AAZ engine

Hello

Is there anyone on this site who has experience of tuning the AAZ engine?

I've had my mk3 GOlf 1.9 TD for about 4 years now & have briefly read that there are many ways to improve this engine.

I would be greatful if anyone could advise me on how to do this.

Have you read the "facts" ?
I would say:
1: bring everything back to spec, new injector nozzles, filters etc
2: improve air intake
3: bigger exhaust (does it have the egr thing? if so get rid of it)
4: intall an EGT probe & gauge
5: follow the instruction to "better" the injection pump and turbo pressure

after that, well it gets more complicated  ;)

there is a thread in the FAQ called make your 1.9 TD a faster car or something close. It should answer most of your questions.
