Post by: Mozza on May 15, 2010, 02:42:46 am
Hey there all, Just a Quick one today but I believe the cause of my squeeking the be the water pump bearing and when we did the cam belt the other day its as dry as a bone, but when looking at it it look like we need to remove the cam belt again to change the water pump, is this true if so or not could someone give me some guidance of how to remove it and if there is anything else i should change whilst im at it

Cheers for all your help and a cracking forum to trawl through :)

There are some who remove the timing belt to do just the one side of the water pump, but it believe it's much less problematic to just remove the whole pump. Of course that involves some twiddling to get at the upper water pump bolts, but that's what beer and swearing was made for.
