Title: Street Toys VNT actuator
Post by: lord_verminaard on April 01, 2010, 12:43:51 pm
Any new info on this?  From this post: http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=22806.msg181531#msg181531 (http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=22806.msg181531#msg181531)  He said it was about two weeks away, and I have not heard anything since then.  Also nothing about it on his site.

Just curious if this ever came into fruition.

I've been waiting too. I wonder if it was a purely boost operated system that made sense before they saw the boost/throttle position operated units in operation here (Libby, Tintin) & its back to the drawing board...

I've been wondering lately what would be the best way to make a black box VNT controller, as in a little cube with all the bits built in & the only external parts being a hose barb for boost sense & two levers, one for a cable from the IP arm & the other to attach to the VNT arm. Everyone would want one from the Ricers to us to the Cummins 12v folks; basically anyone with a turbo. (except stewardc ;))
