Title: multiple injection pumps identification help
Post by: fuslit on March 29, 2010, 07:38:03 am
I'm going through my garage cleaning out parts/restarting work on my turbo diesel project... I've got some pumps I need help identifying what engines they came off of,

I did search but i've only been able to id a couple based on the bosch part # using this link http://www.vepump.cn/CZB.htm (http://www.vepump.cn/CZB.htm)

Here are the #'s
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump #1
460 494 200
R 254 BS 4010
068 130 110N
015 949 83392
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump # 2
couldn't read all the numbers, ends with 34 200 (or 94 200, i'll have to double check this.)
R 254 BS 4010
015 949 83124
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump # 3
NR 0 460 494 210
R 270 BS 4017
068 130 081G
015 066 45434
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump # 4 (this one is id'd as the "vw 1V engine?"
NR 0 460 484 027
R 348 BS 4015
068 130 081M
015 161 14514
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump # 5
NR 0 460 494 072
VE R 66-4
068 130 107 K
011 152  12551
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump # 6
NR 0 460 494 077
VE R 66-8
068 130 107 AG
011 142   11928
------------------------------------------------------------------
Pump # 7 (Id'd as Nissan/vw Engine CY/JR)
NR 0 460 494 182
R 223 BT 4007
068 130 081 F
015 549  49074
------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there a better place online I could look this information up? My plan is to pick the best one for my car to rebuild and sell off the rest but I wanted a little more information about what I had incase I should make a hybrid/etc... still researching.

I believe that #3 & #4 came off of eco diesels, I think #7 is from a turbo diesel (they have the LDA) and the rest from NA engines. I was told #5 (I think) was from an audi diesel.

Thanks in advance.

Pump #1 and #2 are the same

number 6 is off a 1.6 NA found on a rabbit

number 7 is a TD pump of a 1.6 from a late mk2

;D well at a quick glance they all rotate clockwise  :)  depending on what sort of hybrid your going to build - I'd try use one with a 20mm spindle  :)

not me, the 20mm shaft is hard to get a proper sprocket for it.

#1 VW 1.6 Turbo

#2 see above

#3 1.6 NA engine code ME

#4 1.6TD engine code 1V

#5 Audi 4000 engine code CR JK

#6 VW NA engine code CR JK

#7 Nissan 62 Santana 1.6TD engine code CY
OR
1.6 TD engine code MF

Hope this helps. I'm not positive on #1 and #2 because Bosch doesn't have the part > product feature for that pump for some reason.

Thanks guys, this is very helpful! In terms of pumps #1 & #2 I'll work on putting up some pics, they look like the turbo diesel pump, but have a secondary fuel solenoid? (from what I can tell) on the side.

I've got sprockets for the majority of the pumps, but I haven't measured the diameter of the shafts on them to see what they are. Currently my plan was to get a seal kit and re-seal the turbo diesel pump (or use the audi pump to get things running.)

Now I need to figure out the easiest/cheapest place for me to get the seal kits.
