Title: Can someone tell me what this part is??

Got this part with a New cylinder head,, it was in the box with the exhaust studs but cant for the life of me tell what it is??

That is a coolant hose barb from the head to the coolant bottle. Used on cross flow 2.0L gas engines and 1.9L TDI egines.

So its of no use to me and my 1.6L is what your saying?
