Title: VNT-17 on a MTDI ?

Has anyone ever put a VNT turbo on a MTDI ?

If you were to replace the vacuum controlled actuator with a boost controlled actuator it makes sense that you could control when the vains start to open by playing with the spring tension (Length of the rod).

If there is something that I am not aware of please let me know.
