Title: Alternator Idler Pulley
Post by: SolarSteve on February 17, 2010, 06:09:44 am
The bearing in my idler pulley is just about shot on my 1991 1.6 N/A.  Does any know what the part number is for that bearing or do I need to get a new pulley with a new bearing already installed?  And who might sell one?

Also, the adjuster for the idler is frozen, the idler shaft to the bracket.  Is there any trick to keeping this free?  I have freed it a number of times, but every time I have to mes with it, it is frozen again.

Thanks

I just found the Idler pulley bearing replacement thread in the FAQ's.

Sorry for the unnecessary post!
