Title: Why My cars don't last longer
Post by: catlin_cava on February 16, 2010, 04:14:17 pm
There probably is some wonder why I go thru so many cars...well today I wanted to remove the seats in my old MK3 (VW Wolfsburg Recaros) so I need to get the car forward some to get into the driver side door...well the transmission is stuck in 1st since the clutch cable is disconnected and woin't come out and the Ebrake is frozen adn brakes are seized....well this is how I moved it using my SUPER AWESOME POWERFUL 1.8L TBI  ;D With and automatic and 300,000kms  ;D

I don't see any abuse. ;D   Plus it looked like you budged it, or did the tow rope break ?

I do that kind of stuff all the time.

I towed my buddies toyota 4-runner across town with my 1.6 diesel rabbit once(got lots of great looks while doing it too)

nothing wrong with a little bounce, just make sure both ends of the strap are attached to something solid ;D

That's just normal wear and tear..   On of the reason's I put up with the Rabbit's quirkiness is that it's perfect for pushing disabled vehicles around the lot and into the garage...  I need to kit something with a locked up parking brake with the driver side of the front bumper though..  I'd like to even it out...

Dummy doesn't wait till a day where he has the truck.. so he settles for hours of farting around trying to pull it out with another vw :P IDIOT ;)

Why not use that RAM?

My parents place is too far to go with the tow truck for *** like that lol.

And the Ram is 4X2 and only has summer tires on it and hasn't been started in a few months now lol

Its a 3.9L V6, when my parents old minivan called it after 600,000kms they found that quick and bought it, all the 4X4 Ones where too expensive 8 years ago lol
