Title: Leaky brake line

Hi All:

I got a broken brake hose item 17 on the red circle and I dont know how to remove the retaining clip 1A.

Can anybody help me please

Just grab the clip with vice-grips and pull it out. Not hard at all.

You might have to undo the metal line from the hose before that clip will come out. I've never seen that style before though....

Yes, you usually have to do this, but the one in the illustration is definitely the pull out type. Which type do you have?
