Title: Mixing air with fuel...
Post by: darrenjlobb on January 23, 2010, 04:09:16 pm
Hi guys...ive got a problem with a newly build pump....

It wont start...so started investigating the problem..and the fuel thats outputting from both the "to tank" return, and from the 4 injectors lines, is just full of air, hundreds of tiny bubbles, just comes out like a white throth..... i replaced the input pipe with a tempary clear one...and the fuel going in is perfecly clear with no air...

Are there any common places to draw air...?

Ideas welcome.

Cheers

Do you have an "OUT" bolt on the return side?

it either has a out bolt in the inlet of the pump, or the shaft seal is bad.
