Title: K24 turbo variations (VW versus Audi ones)
Post by: Blades on November 08, 2005, 04:55:17 am
I've been looking at the multiples variations ogf the K24 Turbo.

I've been having a hard time finding the specifications of the Audi ones. (I know the 20v S4 had K24 turbos)

The intake side is the same but the exhaust side differs.
The Audi ones are watercooled whereas the VW TD one isn't.

So I'm looking for numbers :)

Basicly, I have a 1.8 16v engine and a 1.6 TD K24 Turbo and well .... I was thinking of putting the 1.6 TD K24 on the 16v

mk1 Cabriolet and Diesel don't mix in my head.

Suuggestions are welcomed :)

I  can't think why a Cabriolet couldn't be a diesel - makes perfect sense to me.

I think that VW TDK24 is going to be WAY too small for a 16V.  Way too small.
