there's gtg's at the Red Robin in plymouth Bi-weekly all year around.
and it gets pretty huge in the spring and summer. sometimes 20-30 cars.
we haven't been in awhile but me, my bf, and a few friends are gonna head up this friday coming to see the regulars that go there all year round.
i just wanted to say that any of you diesel guys are welcome to show up! so i'm not the only diesel :-*

I was invited to a VW GTG a few years back that was hosted by a local indy VW shop... I rolled up in my Rabbit, the one I drive daily that serves as a parts runner and service truck... It was so full of tools, parts, and garbage that there was only room for me to get in and drive.. Not to mention the nice coating of mud and bird doo that was covering the brushed on racing stripes, peeling clear coat, and rust..
Anyhow, when I rolled up the shop owner directed me to the lot where people were showing.. After correcting him that I was just there to spectate he still directed me out to park with the show cars.. There were fart pipes, technicolor vomit paint jobs, flying nun wings, bolt loosening stereos, and snow plowing body kits all over the place (Dern Punk Kids)..
I was not only the only MK1 on the lot, but the only diesel.. 8) I got alot of props for the "0-60 Yup" decal on my back window....

there's also a weekly gtg at uno's next to the south shore plaza each wednesday starting at around 730pm. ;D
