Title: 84 TD Caddy hard starting and no rev

Had a hard time getting this engine started, then only idle. after warmed revved once then back to idle with no rev again. I can see fuel going into the pump. Almost like the pump is frost. Help!

Sounds like air to me. Replace the fuel filter and/or run it off a jerry can and see what happens

Can there be air in the pump? I can see fuel to the pump, I'm using a lift pump.

How was the truck running before? What changed between now and then?
