Title: upper radiator hose
Post by: sdwarf36 on December 20, 2009, 11:58:34 pm
The car is a 91 Jetta non turbo. PS-AC. I put a radiator in it today-unforuntatly I didnt notice when i got it that the upper outlet pointed a slightly different direction that the original. It points straight at the altenator-outlet is about 2" away. The original upper hose looped around the altenator to the left and has a small hose running to the overflow tank. I had to do some cutting + splicing to get the car going on a Sunday -the hose now goes to the right (as you looking at the front) to the outlet on the block.
My question is: Is there an upper hose off something that kinda does this? I dont need the grafted in little hose-there is a barb on the radiator i can go direct to the overflow.

There are two different hoses , for two different radiators

a/c

non a/c

The a/c type usally have a bend so the compressor doesnt get in the way ?

Hope this help's
