Title: 1.6L piston numbers

Hello I am new to the forum and I need help with piston numbers on a 1.6l diesel motor that I am rebuilding. The only numbers I can find on them is C  2/85. does anyone know what this means? Any help appreciated. also found 76.48

the 76.48 is piston diameter in mm. It's a stock dimension and hasn't been oversized yet.

is the engine out of an 85 car? sounds like a date stamp to me 2/85.
