I have the service manual, so if you know where in there I can find it, but I don't see a thing.
Otherwise, can you tell me how to remove the ignition lock cylinder so I can install the new one I just bought.
Keep in mind, I have the assembly removed already and sitting on my bench, I just can't get the tumbler out.

ps for those who this may help later, and, I'm not saying this needs to be done for the tumber, I'm simply stating the process to remove the tumbler housing. Someone else may comment on if it needs to be removed for the tumbler or not, I don't know.
I may miss a small step or two, but this is the jist of it, it's not too difficult, no special tools needed, but would help for shaft spring retainer (toughest part).........Remove two screws on the bottom plastic piece, unplug wiring from housing, removing steering wheel (horn section has two plastic pieces to pry/pop out, then one 15/16 or sim bolt off the shaft, pretty easy), then the turn signal and wiper lever arms, and then there is a clip that sits in front of the compressed shaft spring that you must jimmy off the shaft, I did it with one fine and one large flat screwdrivers, getting between the springs and turn to pry a bit at a time. Once you've gotten it down the shaft a ways, turn/pry with one driver at the base of the spring, then directly above it, turn/pry with the other, and of course, work your way around the piece, not just in one area. Careful, it's usually slow to come off, and then will really fire off unexpectedly and hard once loose enough, if staring at it head on, wear safety glasses. hand pull off spring and metal piece behind it. Then pull the housing and the upper plastic piece as one. Work back and forth with both hands with many reps and it will eventually come loose (shaft bearing will stay in, so don't worry about that).

On page 35 of Chapter 11 Suspension and Steering is fig 7-4 which shows you where you need to drill a 1/8" hole to release the hidden lock pin. ;)

Thanks, That did it. I swiss cheesed it a bit, but finally found it, and it came out.
