Title: BOV delete?
Post by: 54321chris on November 23, 2009, 11:29:24 am
What's the best way to delete my BOV?  I tried searching but couldn't really find a how-to.  Or should I just shop for a different intake manifold?

Depends what you are trying to do.

If you are trying to stop it from preventing your boost pressure going above 8psi then all you have to do is unscrew the screw in the middle and put something inside. I used a screw. Theres a thread somewhere but I can't find it because the new search sucks. :(

If you are looking to remove it completely, there is a block off plate that you can buy. Just gets clamped on same way as the BOV.

Or you can just block off the hose coming from it.  A chunk of broom handle fits in there perfectly...

On the car that is the way to go.

Off the car TIG weld or spool gun it shut:D
