Title: 92 TD sending unit
Post by: hoodie on November 10, 2009, 07:53:12 am
Mine is leaking and you can't get them through the dealer anymore.  :-[

I might have a line on a good used one but was curious if there are any alternatives? Appreciate any comments.

Thanks!

Chris

Replaced with a good used and the car starts like a champ again. No more air getting in to the system.   8)

Also epoxied the little metal lines off the sender so they won't rot anymore.

What sender? This really confuses me.

The sender in the tank for the fuel gauge accessible through the trunk.

There are little metal lines that come off it and one was really rotten on mine and it was sucking lots of air.

Yeah, luckily a buddy of mine had a junker and it still had a salvageable one in it.

Retail on them was $150CAD but I guess they haven't been available through the dealer for quite a while now.
