Title: Juddering on tickover.
Post by: chestervw on November 06, 2009, 10:09:01 am
Hello
I have just bought a 07 golf tdi gt sport 140 and I having a problem with a judder during tickover.
During tickover every few seconds the is a judder which can be felt through the seat. The rev counter stays at 800 rpm throughout.

I have taken the car back to the garage and they say this is normal.
Is this true?
Has anyone else had the same problem?

Thanks.

PS They have already checked the fuel filter.

most new cars judder a bit. its because the car manufacturers design them to be as efficient as possible (within their own strict guidelines ::)) so the car is nearly stalling at idle...

Thats what the garage is saying.
But should also do it when driving at 80mph in 6th gear?
