Title: South Africa Shutting down Citi Golf (MKI Rabbit) Production
Post by: conor on November 04, 2009, 08:31:53 am
Hadn't seen if anyone else had mentioned it...

Sad news, VW of south africa is finally killing off production of the CitiGolf, the end of the mkI rabbit production. Too bad its all right-hand drive as those end-of-the-line limited edition ones look pretty nice.

Iam glad I brought over the fenders, core support and two extra front bumpers for my caddy

parts are cheap !

Autostyle has most stuff you might need...

I did fed ex economy, shipping was more than the parts, but I split it three way's

That would be so cool to snag one and slap a diesel in it!!!! You'd get to start with a nice new body :o

I read about 'em a while ago and all they made were gassers and they got pretty bad mileage, like low/mid twenty's.
