Title: WTB : 1.6 n/a non-a/c alternator pulley or alternator
Post by: 81caddy on October 26, 2009, 12:09:53 am
I am taking the a/c off my 1981 Rabbit Caddy n/a and need an alternator pulley off of a non-a/c engine.  The whole alternator bracket would be nice too, but I think I can get away with just using the pulley.

Any help would be great....

Thanks

Does anyone know the part # for the alternator bracket?

I found one on ebay but I don't know if it is the right one.

If you don't go to a serpentine setup you need all the pulleys, alternator bracket and afaik alternator. In the non-a/c setup the alt tensions the belt not the a/c compressor.
