I just lost all throttle in my tdi ???
Anyone, I am a newb so any info will help :P

not familiar with TDI but see if it physically broke a cable or linkage???

2001 is drive by wire, no cable. Read the code from the ob2. You did not say if it idles??

Yeah sorry that's my bad. I am just super confused and the vehicle is not in front of me so I am in even more trouble.
The car idles fine but physically pushing down the throttle doesn't make the rpm increase what so ever. I am stumped ???

are all of the sensors plugged in? IIRC there is one at the pedal and one by the intake manifold

check engine light is on as well as the flashing glowplug light ??? ??? ???

The car is trying to tell you what's wrong... go to Autozone, Napa, etc and have them read the code(s)... it will tell you exactly what's going on.
Anything else at this point is random guessing. ;)

I'll take a stab at it, and say the MAF went to hell on it. Try unplugging it and see what happens. ;)

that is exactly the code i was getting, but mine came around and is working great now! :o
lucky me i guess, how hard was it to replace the potentiometer?
