FEQ = Chinese and I have had very bad luck with their motor mounts.

Tyler, do you have any vr6 spring mounts, or know where to find a couple? The front of my car looks like the back of yours does ;D 4-5" of lift. Not that I mind it, but it might drop down an inch or two if I get the right spring mount on there 8)

Hey Bob,
No I don't have any. I would have offered them to you already if I did. I should check my setup though, it's been a while but I don't remember even having those on my car haha.
I would like some pictures of your car though :)

Fair enough, let me see if I can get a pic ;D

BTW I think the springs changed Spring Seats after 1996, so if you used springs from before that they might have fit the old spring seats

Your right. FEQ sucks. The VW oem are not that expensive.

Sorry But I was at the wreckers today and the MK3 I Sent yup there was burried under 5 cars and in a mountain of scrap...

:o :o :o
-
Haha wow. You need a few more hockey pucks in the rear I think.
-
Actually wouldn't be a bad idea! I don't mind the lift, but it looks funny being higher in the front than in the back. It is riding great. I just took it on 20 miles of logging roads today through the North Carolina mountains and it handled like a champ ;D After I find the right spring mount for the front I'll see how it looks, Then use hockey pucks in the back to even it out if I need to.
