Hello, everyone. I would love to get my hands on good core 1.5L head.

Mine just cracked from the intake valve to swirl chamber... :'(

A 1.6 head will work OK.  I put a 1.6 head on my 1.5TD project, ran it in the winter and it did OK.  I used a 11mm 1.6 head.  The front oil drain hole is bigger on the 1.6 head.  I reduced it with Devcon, but there is an adapter available from that diesel parts and free tech help web page

Search for MK1 God on vwvortex. He has a NOS 1.5 head (I think)

I have almost a whole 1.5L engine. It's at my shop. I can get you photos or more info on it monday. If you are interested.

I might have a 1.5 head for sale, gotta clean up the block, and look for cracks. cracked block = used head + ARP head stud kit (new in box) for sale.

I have plans for the short block guts, but they don't include a 11mm head.
