Title: THREAD SIZE OIL FITTING AAZ , RETURN banjo bolt ON THE BLOCK
Post by: GEE-BEE on October 06, 2009, 05:09:10 pm
Iam not sure is iam going with a 45 or 90 degree an fitting, I did purchase a kit for the turbo fitting and i will need a fitting adapter for the BLOCK , Iam going to make a teflon hose assy ( crimp fittings ) an on both end's -8 dash (1 /2) I.D.

Question ?

Thread type on the Block ?

Thanx

I thought AAZ's had the return fitting on the block. The return fitting on a 1.6td oil pan is something weird. After trying to locate an adapter that would fit, I ended up cutting mine off and welding a -8 AN 90 degree fitting onto it.

Oop's my bad

You are correct..

I will be using a AEROQUIP Aerospace teflon hose assy with the Intergal firesleeve , 30 % smaller than a rubber s/s braid but with the silicone cover good for 15 minutes at 2500 open flame...

temp range -65 to 550
