Title: Identification of clocks
Post by: blenki on September 28, 2009, 12:38:22 am
Originally brought these and was told they were GTD clocks, upon doing a bit of reseatch the GTD clocks i find only go upto 5000 revs.... Apparently these have the glow plug led..... so anyone got any ideas what the hell they are??

Looks like a Gasser cluster to me... I see a yellow LED, but it's in the Hi-beam position. If it were diesel, the rev counter would have a small "DIESEL" printed on it, and a 2.22 under that.

Yup, looks like a generic MK2 CE2 gas cluster to me.  :-[

Maybe the seller got his wires crossed between GTD and GTI.

Like they have said already, it's a Mk2 CE2 gasser.
At least it's low mileage ...... if you can't get a refund maybe that will help on reselling it.
