Just a question.. do you know if the '5th injector' has been capped off?

I recall hearing early TDI's had a '5th injector' which while not used to
run the engine, was used to spray a small amount of fuel into the
cat-converter to keep it warm, or help it warm up....  the practice
was discontinued in later model years...

It might be something to check... since it seems you have just about everything else covered!   Check TDIclub.com for 5th injector info to
find out more about it...

Drive on!
