I've got a Merc. SD 300 TD turbo. My ? is, what is the exhaust outlet bolt pattern, T3, GT3 or the T31.
The reason for asking is that I want to convert the exhaust to V-band clamp that ATP sells the converter to do so. Please help ::).

Got it figured out ;D. Its the same as the VW turbo outlets, T31.

whats the inlet side consist of flange wise? next time i find one in the wreckin yard, im gonna pull it and compound my rabbit.
-
The turbo's inlet flange is a T3. Bolts right up to a T3'ed exhaust maifold :D.

nice, that makes things pretty easy. its either gonna get a K24, or a merc T3. i have the K24 already, but its on my audi and i dont know if im gonna scrap it and canibalize it yet, or if im going to actually try and keep it a car. if i scrap the car, then im going to have atleast a sweet intake manifold and another turbo to put on my rabbit.

The turbo's ex. inlet of the Audi is a T24 maybe a T28 and the outlet is a three bolt. ATP sells the adapter for it aswell to convert it to V-band flange.

yea, i know its some weird small flange, but im going to be making a FULL CUSTOM compound turbo setup. use the VNT where its at then put the K24 pretty much right above the transmission. i would mount it so that the intake faced forward, and so the exhaust faced right towards the firewall, i think it would make piper routing alot easier that way. that would be super nice to have a v clamp connection for exhaust too.
hmm, its a rainy day, there are no projects in my shop.. i might just go start working on a compound setup.. i think a 1600 pound rabbit with twins would be pretty much un stoppable... well, except for when my fiber HG exits stage left again from too much boost.
