Title: Caddy tales

My caddy was born with a good old 1600D so unit I swapped it for a 1.9TD AAZ it never smoked anyone but the tailgate (with it's own smoke)

I was installing ICE in a friends car today and I got the idea to have a spin against his VW Golf MK4 GTI (1.8T 150HP, 0-100km 8.5s) so we went to the deserted businesarea... From standstill or chases, I kept up or ran away from him every time  8) Gonna swap my clutch for a sportclutch soon because it slips a bit above 3000rpm in 3rd/4rd gear, and let him sniff my smoke again  :lol:

nice.... must have been a bit of a revelation for him. Too much ICE in the trunk maybe?

It is about common knowlegde that a MK4 GTI is not the fastest thing on the road, just a nice highway cruiser... The ICE was about 40kgs so that was not going to make it any faster, he was just puzzled about my 20 year old diesel  :lol:
