Title: Mk1 non sunroof 1600 diesel van coverted to a car
Post by: AZIM on August 28, 2009, 08:06:26 am
To keep peace at home ,im going to have to part with my MK1 1600 diesel van converted to a car .
It has been dry stored for approximately 10 years ,and has a very solid body  with no rot in all the usual places .
Before i sell her ,im determined to get the engine up and running again .
Ive had her running for short periods and there is no unusual noises eminating from the engine .
Its done 107k and has had a 5 speed gearbox fitted .

Not sure what shes worth ,so im gonna put a rediculous price of 1500 pounds .
The best offer within a couple of weeks secures the Van.

Im based in Coventry and your welcome to come round and inspect her .

What a nice MK1! I love the colour! Beautiful! Like the above poster stated, can you put it in a cardboard box and have UPS deliver it here to the states?  ;)

When they have no windows on the back sides, they are called vans on the other side of the pond. I don't know if there is anything else.

Nice car, or ex-van
