Title: 1.9tdi with Gtd pump and turbo
Post by: poole456 on August 28, 2009, 03:24:34 am
Hi, have tried searching but found nothing.

I've sourced a gtd engine with good turbo and injector pump. Engine itself is seized.

I have a 1.9tdi engine  already out of a mk3 golf, but want to get rid of the electronics.

Will the 1.9tdi run with the gtd pump bolted on? And also would the gtd turbo increase performance in comparison to the small turbo that's on the 1.9tdi at the moment.

It will run, if you can get it started. But it will have less power then a 1.6na

If that isn't enough, I think the pumps have different offsets as well.  :(
