Title: Neuspeed sport springs for a MKIII work on a MKII?
Post by: mtnbob on August 16, 2009, 02:43:53 pm
I'm looking at a set that says 1.6" drop but might not be as much for my car which might be a bit lighter. Anyone know if they will fit?

They will fit. Depending if they are for the early or late mk3 you might need to change your front strut mounts to the late mk3 style. I think you can also upgrade to the VR6 front strut mount which will give you a bit of lift as well

Ty Tyler   Now about the hockey pucks :o

Does this mean I will have to find the same type for the rear of the car?

Thanks
Robert

I don't think so. As long as both fronts are the same and both rears are the same you should be ok.

I priced out MK3 springs, it was $500+ for springs all the way around, and a drop kit was cheaper and offers stiffer springs. so thats 300 CAD too brand new, I'll double check the price this week
