Title: Diesel Purge My Old Friend
Post by: homerj1 on July 28, 2009, 03:20:46 am
I've used this stuff   http://www.dieselgiant.com/injectorcleaning.htm on a Mercedes 240d that I owned ages ago, and thought I'd try it on my AAZ with 370,00km. Once again, I was impressed! The car idles smoother, accelerates better and seems to have more power - all that for $15  :) I realize, it doesn't replace a injector change, but for the price and ease it seemed to make a big difference.

Aivars

ps I don't have stocks in this company  ;)

Haha, I notice a difference after running Atf in my Gasser :) (obviously not as much as i could in a diesel). Additives work wonders!

:) I was thinking this exact thing when I was noticing ( or thought I was noticing) a difference. Just like taking those sugar pills......

Perhaps with respect to the "more power/smoother running/blahblahblah" claims, but it does clean things up rather well. If your nozzles are shiztastically nasty it might make a noticeable difference, but you'd need more than one can.
