I have finally decided that the 3'' turbo back straight pipe is just a little too loud for me. I need a muffler. Ideally I would like to get a muffler that restricts the flow as little as possible but takes the edge off the loud drone when under load. I really like hearing the Turbo whistle so if possible a muffler that still lets me hear it? There are so many brands and different types I need help choosing. Any suggestions?

most mufflers that don't restrict flow will be loud, try a dual tip "Fart Can"

I've got a Cherry Bomb Turbo (Canadian Tire or Partsource). It's probably not the best flowing muffler in the world but sounds OK. The older Flowmasters flowed well, but the Flowmasters I have seen recently all use the old style turbo design. Possibly the original design didn't cut decibels enough?

I thought turbo cars had virtually no exhaust sound..? I have a 7.3 turbo with it right off the DP.. sounds good :)
