Guys,
i always had the chance to have garrett.
now i got this KKK turbo, and i wanna put a bleed valve on it for a little bit more boost ;D but how?
with garrett turbo's its so easy, you just put a T between the line from the turbo and the actuator, but with this kkk the hose is metal.
I know you can control the pressure at the actuator itself with kkk turbo's.
My experience is when you use a bleed valve with the pressure a little bit higher than stock the turbo spools quicker, its becouse the bleed valve makes the wastegate start opening much later. And for that, the turbo spools quicker.
I hope you understand what i try to say.
Anyone got a picture from how you got the bleed valve on the kkk turbo?

I wanna know how to build my own boost control operated from the passenger compartment.
Anyone know a good way how to without any whistle or noise?

Cut a bit out of the metal pipe and insert a t piece there with the use of some rubber hose and clamp to the original metal left after cutting.
Do you follow me?

well the only metal pipe on my turbo is the oil feed. The wastegate to turbo and the intake manifold to LDA are both rubber hose.
I `d like to run it inside the passenger compartment.
Be nice to know how to build a boost controler

get online and search on google.
you take a valve, and drill a special sized hole.
the volvo forums have a pretty good outline.
thats how i learned how to make them.
stupid simple tho. needle valve with a hole in it.
