hi,
I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1.6l td motor,  will these fit the engine? (what are the lengths of them, 11mm or 12 mm?) At the moment, I'm not sure which engine blocks I have (I'll have to check) If they are MF (I'm pretty sure they are) I could do $90 us (105 cdn?) http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html funds (sorry if thats a lowball offer...)

Also, are these the studs in this thread http://vwdiesel.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=344&highlight=raceware?
Did you figure out what the torque specs on should be? Do you have instructions for re-install used head studs, Would they include the nuts for them as well.

sorry for the questions... I'll be asking more as this will be my first rebuild... and I'm just getting new parts together.

Thanks in advance

-Todd

Hi,
they will fit MF and AAZ engines. The overtorqued studs have been doing time satisfactorily in a n/a diesel golf with no signs of leakage. The studs for sale were the replacements for those studs. Off the top of my head, the torque specs are 20, 40 and 50 ft. lbs, using conventional 20W50 engine oil.
That price is a little low.
