Title: Need to update my vehicle list

I sold the Jetta coupe and bought some much needed tools. This will come in handy for the project in the background.
I can't wait to use the spool gun on some aluminum. So far it work great with steel.

That's a very nice looking welder you've got there.  ;D 220v as well, I see.  Nice welds too!

I got so exsited to have it, I did some welding w/out the proper protection clothing and got a 1st* burn on my leg  >:( :'(.  Oh well, live and learn. I got lucky this time.

proper protection? you arent having fun until you have sun burns and spatter burns from head to toe!

if im welding alot and i know im going to be welding alot, i will get dressed up, other wise its street clothes, one leather glove, and my Speedglass. god i love auto darkening hoods. they are the shizz!

oh yea, its real fun when you get a chunk of spatter down in your shoe, or in your ear. in the ear is personally the worst ive ever had. cause you just have to sit there and listen to it sizzle until it cools off.

and what kinda ride is that in the background? almost looks like a 4/5000? i couldnt really tell from that shot.

Speedglass FTW, the Miller auto darks are OK and way better then those generic retina stingers, but the Speedglass is so much lighter and comfortable. The batteries also last a little longer ( I replace mine every year) between charges. The spool gun is also good for extending the range on the welder when you run out of extension cord.  8)

Nice.  I would really like to find a spool gun for my welder, I think it's too old though.  :P
