Title: T3 wastegate

Trying to remove the waste gate valve and can so I can lap the valve back in.

It appears that the base of the can has a spot weld, any idea how I can get this damn thing off?   ???

Can you post a picture?  Some of them are not really serviceable.  Some have a band type clamp around the top of the cannister to remove it.  Mine however, is crimped at the top and I don't know how to get it apart without wrecking it.  :-\

That's what I have, crimped on can.  I really wish I could remove it, but it appears that it's not possible then.   :-\
