Title: rev counter!

All the jetta and golf gtd's i have seen have rev counters but mine dosent nor does it have gti seats, but it does have an intercooler which makes me believe mine is a gtd, Is it just poverty spec or is it not a gtd ???,

my GTD didn't have GTI seats but it did have a rev counter. what year is your car? i think i still have the clocks from it but it was the later one with just the one plug. if i have them i'd sell them or swap them for an earlier set with the 2 plugs :-*

in France the GTD is a spec. you could get the RA/SB engine with the IC but not with the GTI interior (and some comestics on the outside). Commercial 2 door (2 seat) Golfs are one example.

Take the chassis number to main dealers, they can tell you everything about the original spec and options of your car.

Has it got the water cooled turbo - that's normally a good sign.
