Won't stay in Start or won't stay in Run?

Can you turn the key all the way over to start, then it springs back to run but doesn't stay there? Or does it just not make it to Start?

Usually problems like this are solved with a new electrical part of the switch. Pretty cheap, they're <$10 if you don't buy it through a retailer but order online instead. I know B2, BX, A2 and A3 US market switches all interchange, can't imagine that being different for Canada.

Simple fix, but you do have to take the column apart. Got a Bentley for your car?

Probably the switch, then. If the springs are worn out or broken, it won't stay where it's supposed to.

T30 and T15. But you're going to have to take the column apart to get up in there to get the wires anyway, why not just do it right and spend under ten bucks to get the proper switch?

Ditto - do the switch.
