Title: Stripping 97 Mk3 today , need any small parts ? UPDATE !
Post by: the caveman on June 20, 2009, 08:04:05 am: I'm stripping a 97 Golf today, but only for small things. The motor and turbo are toast, the PO drove in the country without the air filter attached and now the motor has zero compression and the turbo has been bad for the last year. The IP is sold .Anything else small is up for grabs-instrument cluster, lights etc. Will sell anything cheap, but car is gone Tuesday.
Okay ,i will have the serpentine belt setup with the alternator and PS pump available also and i've decided to pull the head. When i have had a look, i'll post an update.
