Title: How hard is it to change front seat cushions on a MKII Golf??
Post by: mtnbob on June 09, 2009, 08:09:33 pm
My passenger seat is in great shape and the drivers is kinda worn out. Is it reasonably easy to switch just the seat cushions and covers?? Any suggestions??

Thanks

Robert

I've done it before. I think it took me about 2 hours and I had to take apart 4 seats, both top and bottom. I have done it before though.

In fact, I even made a rough DIY

I had the same problem and got a replacement seat off vortex, a Recaro.  It is the best seat ever.

Saw a show on the military history channel.  Top ten best tanks.  #1 was a german job, driver had himself a sweet recaro seat in the tank.  Awsome.
