Title: Turbo Help

The turbo in my sister's TDI went...the car is still going strong anad getting 55mpg+. I'm helping her look for a used turbo for it but I don't know what kind of turbo it needs...its a 2002 Jetta TDI. Made in Mexico. What kind of Turbo would the car have?

otherwise i'm sure you can find a low mileage turbo pulled from a wreck off ebay.  i'd imagine that the turbo failure is impart due to clogged intake/exhaust from the EGR system.  does she baby the car??  in town driving only?

340,000km, was alot of highway, then it was parked for a year, and now its alot of city in Halifax. I think that she did have a probelm before with the ERG before the turbo went.
