I've been reading all the posts from RabbitTD and am learning alot. My wastegate is stuck closed. I try to move the lever but no go. Now A: my actuator has two lines, one goes to the turbo housing and the other has nothing on it. Where should that go? B:What is the easiest way to free up a wastegate? It's a KKK turbo with external linkage. Can't read what one it is.... How much boost can the motor take? I need to get it down! I've been driving the car for over two months and something seemed odd so I installed a boost gauge, well....wow, when you are on the highway and are anything over 1/2 throttle the thing goes WAY off the scale ( Gauge only goes to 25 but it passes that) I get no smoke from the back. Funny thing is that in order to go any speed over 100kmh the thing is off the chart even with only 1/2 throttle and barely any gain in speed...It has alot of bottom end but at the top it falls flat and feels like my 1.6 N/A did. My other AAZ pulls good right through. Is the turbo what is causing my top end issues? Fueling is still stock so is that what is saving me from blowing a HG or worse?

The second hose on your wastegate was intended to go to a source of vacuum via a solenoid valve actuated by the engine control module. That particular version of the AAZ has a part-time turbo... the ECM generally leaves the turbo off until it's needed. Venting it to atmosphere turns it into a full-time turbo... which is fine.
Having said that, if you want to get your boost back to stock levels (10-12 psi) you'll need to disassemble and free up the stuck wastegate.

Well if you are getting over 25 and haven't came apart yet I guess I should be OK at 10 ;D I didn't think they would go that high with the throttle at that position and fuel settings. Is that the K14 I here people refer to, from what I have read here it sounds like that would be the best one for my use mostly cruising 65-70 and mountain pulls with my 1.6T/D Rabbit. As far as your stuck linkage I would try shooting some PB Blaster where the lever goes in the housing and try to move the lever back and forth with some vise grips a little at a time first before you have to tear it down. I'd like to try one of those turbos sometime after I get the T/D pump back on but I'm really happy with the way this engine acts now with the original stock t3 on it compared to tat other one I bought and the mileage is way better now also. I was getting 45 my last tank but I can tell now since last weekend it's really gained a lot.
