I know I don't have that many posts, but I'm going to ask for something that everyone wants and you rarely find for sale. I'd love to find a diesel cluster with a tach. Thanks! Paypal ready. This would be going in a Mk II, CE1 or 2, doesn't matter.

I'll tag along on this...

If anyone has a MK2 diesel or Vanagon Diesel tach, CE1 i believe, i'm looking. Its the tach with both the temp & fuel level inset in the bottom of the tach face.

This is the one you are looking for for a vanagon,CE1, Jetta II, Tom Sinclair at Mink Creek Syncros had one, might still?

What are these going for?  Is it a direct plug and play deal?  I'm interested if anyone still has one.  The kmh speedo would be cool for sure in my up-and-coming GTD. 8)

Yeah, it's plug and play. However, verify the indicated speed with a GPS if you can. I discovered mine was reading 10 km/h too high (you can change out the speedo gear to correct this).

CE1 clusters have 2 connectors on the bottom, CE2 has 1 connector on the bottom. I think the change over year was 89 or 90

I can get you a CE 2 one if your strapped for one. The one with one plug. I can get the pigtail too if you need it. PM me if your interested

Is the switch from a ce1 cluster to a ce2 cluster a simple one?  Anybody done this?
