I always carry a lot of weight in the back of my Jetta and have wanted to beef up the rear suspension for a while now. The rear end usually sags low and I sometimes hit the trailer hitch off the ground when I go down a sharp incline. I have read over at vortex about using passat rear coils. Could not get a good read on what year or type of passat to use coils from though. Any suggestions?

B3/B4 coils should work. I'm not sure if the wagon ones are the same as the sedan ones though.

Went to the wrecker's today and picked some coils from a '93 Passat Sedan (B3)...will report back once I have them in. The B3 wagon coils looked the same.

I put the coils in a while back but never got around to showing my results! I hindsight I might have cut one or two coils off, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.
